Ruth Booth worked as a music writer for more than a decade. Since she started work in student newspapers, radio and fanzines, her work has appeared in The Independent, The Mirror, Kerrang! Magazine, Virtual Festivals, Thrash Hits, Big Cheese Magazine, and many more.
Ruth previously worked as onsite editor during music festivals for Virtual Festivals, and edited the music website Rock Midgets.com for over eight years.

As an event photographer, Ruth covered events across the country for more than a decade. Her work wa commissioned by bands such as Hundred Reasons and Funeral For A Friend, and she covered major music events for online and print publications, including the Leeds, Bloodstock and Give It A Name Festivals.
Ruth regularly shot for Drowned In Sound‘s In Photos section, as well as branching out into portrait and promotional photography.
